For this exclusive tasting, we will be showcasing the following vintages; 2005, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. There will also be an exclusive pre-release special tasting of the 2018 vintage.

Tahbilk’s 1860 Vines Shiraz is crafted from some of the oldest, still-producing Shiraz vines in the world—planted by hand on our Estate in the heart of Victoria during the 1860s. These precious, un-grafted vines have survived drought, flood, and time itself, delivering fruit of remarkable intensity and finesse. Produced only in exceptional vintages and in very limited quantities, this flagship wine is the purest expression of our legacy—a bold, complex Shiraz with exceptional cellaring potential

Guided by your wine ambassador, you will experience an in-depth tasting of the 1860 Shiraz Wines, hearing stories from the vintages and how this impacted grape growing and the final product.

This is a tasting that is not to be missed. There are limited places as space is limited in the underground cellar. 

This tasting will be 45 minutes in duration. Access is via a set of stairs, however there is a ramp into the underground cellar; if you need to use this, please let us know prior to your arrival.
