Pelicans make their way to the tabilk-tabilk wetlands to spend the winter months recuperating. April to July marks waring season (wombat season) with many wombats making their way out of the burrows to forage on the winter grass. And long neck turtles make their way up the banks of the wetlands to soak up the last rays of sun.
Spend a winter's morning at Tahbilk beginning at 9am with Brunch at the Tahbilk restaurant. After brunch take a walkabout through the tabilk-tabilk Wetlands and experiencing the unique landscape. Finish off the winter walkabout about with a guided tasting at Tahbilk Cellar Door and then a guided walk through of the historic underground cellars.
